It focuses on the five functions of management, explaining how a manager plans, organizes, supervises staff, leads, and controls workplace situations. The course provides an overview of how a market economy operates and examines different career opportunities in management. In addition, students learn about the job application process, including searching for a job, writing a résumé, and interviewing. Students have an opportunity to review the Sixteen Career Clusters for possible career choices.
