The Latin readings for this course, adapted from ancient history and mythology, deal with the Trojan war and the story of Aeneas and his journey to Italy. Students work intensely on nouns, adjectives and verbs; study first, second and third declension nouns in all cases; and learn to form the six tenses of Latin verbs in the active voice for all four conjugations. Audio files are embedded in the online course and are available on an Audio CD for offline use. The CD contains the audio files for both the First Year Latin course and the Second Year Latin course.
